Katie Feifer – Research Director, & CounterQuo Project Leader of The Voices and Faces Project
Katie Feifer brings more than a decade of activism and forty years of media, communications, research, and facilitation experience to bear on gender justice and human rights issues.
Katie has a unique public-private sector history. She was formerly a Vice President at Leo Burnett, one of the country’s most respected communications firms, where she worked with a long list of Fortune 500 companies. Today Katie brings her communications skills to bear in the non-profit sector, serving as Research and Community Engagement Director at The Voices and Faces Project, an award-winning non-profit storytelling project, and chairing the leadership council of CounterQuo, a national coalition focused on challenging media and legal responses to sexual violence. Katie is also a founding co-chair of World Without Exploitation, the movement to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation. In partnership with academic and investigative journalist Firuzeh Shokooh Valle, Katie will co-facilitate “Your Voice, Your Choice: A mindful media engagement workshop.”
