Dear Friend:
What makes our work at The Voices and Faces Project possible? Our deeply committed team.
The inspired and inspiring community of writers and activists who take part in our award-winning testimonial writing workshop and narrative advocacy trainings. And you.
It's true. Everything we do is made possible by friends and allies like you, who have not only believed in our work since the Voices and Faces Project was launched in 2006. You've supported it. Which is why, we invite you to give the gift of
change again, by making as generous a donation as you can to our Stories We Tell Scholarship
Fund.

Every $650 we raise will allow us to provide a full, multi-day scholarship to one of The Voices
and Faces Project's award-winning testimonial writing programs, which have been offered on
three continents since we launched our writing programming in 2011: The Stories We Tell, our
signature writing workshop for survivors of gender-based violence; Writing a New Refugee
Story, a storytelling program for refugee women and girls seeking to speak truth to power in a
world that too often denies their experiences; Testimony & Transformation, a narrative justice
program for those impacted by the criminal justice system; and Find the Right Words, a
storytelling and advocacy training for migrant and essential workers seeking to raise awareness of the economic and social injustices they experience in fields and factories across the US, and beyond our borders.

During the coming year, The Voices and Faces Project, which has been named one of America's Best Charities for 14 years running, seeks to provide 100 full scholarships to a global community of inspired and inspiring activists, artists and writers seeking to take part in our programs. But we can't do it without you. Please give as generously as you can today.

Our stories are our power. At The Voices and Faces Project we’re using them to create change. |
The Voices and Faces Project is an award-winning non-profit storytelling initiative created to bring the names, faces, and testimonies of survivors of gender-based violence to the attention of the public. Through our educational and advocacy trainings, survivor story archive and signature program, The Stories We Tell — an immersive, two-day testimonial writing workshop for those who have lived through or witnessed gender-based violence or other human rights violations — we seek to change minds, hearts, and public policies through the power of personal testimony. The Voices and Faces Project has been named one of America's Best Charities by the board of Independent Charities of America, and is a registered 501c3 organization.
